Poetry Course with Adam Horowitz
Two ten-week courses lead by Adam Horovitz, running from September 16 or 17 to early December, with a two week break at the end of October.
Over 10 weeks, participants will be invited to explore the writing of poetry, offering ways in to intermediate and advanced writers in search of fresh sources of inspiration, or who are in need of a jump-start for the muse.
The Tuesday night sessions (Advanced) are suitable for people returning to the Tuesday night classes, and for anyone feeling more confident in their writing. The Wednesday course (Intermediate) will suit intermediate writers, improvers and anyone seeking a burst of fresh inspiration. Each two hour session over the ten weeks will include workshop prompts, discussion and constructive critique of writing generated on the night, and of poems brought in or written as part of the previous week’s homework.
