About the event

Preserving Produce

Allison from Common Soil Community Farm will share ideas, and you'll have a go at some techniques, for perserving an abundance of produce that you might have at different times of the year and making it last.

There will be a general introduction to presevation of produce and then you'll watch a demonstration of or have a go at some of the follwing:

  • Jam, Jelly or Chutney making
  • Country Wine making
  • Making Beetroot or Cucumber Pickle

Cost £10 per person

Please bring your own quart mason jar if possible (we will have some spares if you aren't able to)

If you have any excess of any fruit or veg then please let us know in advance and we can use it during the session
