Rewear Revolution
Daytime: FREE clothes swap plus preloved clothes and accessories to buy
Evening: Ticketed event with welcome drink, featuring trashion show, curated retro clothing; an audience with local fashion icon; licensed bar
Taking place during Sustainable Fashion Week, Rewear Revolution is a collaboration between Trinity Rooms Community Hub, Stroud Valleys Project, the Door, Creative Sustainability, and Transition Stroud (TS) Textile Group.
To swap, bring your preloved pieces to SVP's eco shop between Friday 19 and Friday 25 September to receive a voucher, then come along and choose 'new' ones on the day. Swaps are FREE between 11am and 3pm, while in the evening, there's ticketed entry and we're curating a collection of the 'best bits' and asking for donations (reduced if you've brought clothes to swap). We'll also be chatting to a local fashion professional and rocking the catwalk with a Trashion Show of reclaimed and upcycled styles.
