Jars of spring water are not enough anymore, take us down to the river, the face of peace, the sun…~ Rumi
- Chloe Goodchild is a vocalist, voice medicine teacher, founder of The Naked Voice.
- Nicholas Twilley is a world percussionist, shaman, artist and poet.
Chloe and Nicholas have co-facilitated groups - locally and internationally - for 30+ years. They will be sharing world songs, call-&-refrain prayers, poems and instrumental music - interactively with you - inspired by the modal, rhythmic and spiritual traditions from around the world.
'Water is light, life, consciousness; it is the unifying principle that connects all life in a sacred web of inter-connection and inter-being. When we honour it, communicate our prayers to it, we honour all life and become part of its flow...' - Jo Khimba
The central theme of this special Singing Field - Immersive Sound Gathering will be the Sacred Nature of Water.
Jozette Khimba and local members of the Trinity Rooms Community in Stroud will be co-creating a Water Shrine in gratitude for the blessing of the many natural Springs that nourish us daily, across the Cotswolds, and around the planet. We will also be celebrating World Peace Day synchronistically with the World Water Festival, inspired by the innovative research of Masaru Emoto, author of The Hidden Messages In Water; also, Singing for Water a vast choral community worldwide, founded by my dear friend, the remarkable singer, composer and choral director, Helen Chadwick.
NB: Singing for Water will be performing in London on September 15th.
