Let's get Trinity for Christmas
The Trinity Rooms are run by an active community group, including many volunteers. We host a Community Pantry, Community Cafe, Repair Cafe, Youth Club, Christmas Dinner, the Food Bank, poetry and art classes, dances, singing, public and private meetings and celebrations of all kinds. We work hard to welcome, support and include everyone, especially people facing challenges in their lives. It has become a valuable community space, at a time when many community spaces are being lost.

We currently lease the building from the Church of England on a short term lease. Whilst the church is supportive of what we are doing they need to sell the building. In order to secure the Trinity Rooms for the community forever, we need to buy it now. Once we own the building, we can get on with our many exciting plans for the future.

If you are able to, please make your pledge now so we buy the Trinity Rooms by Christmas 2025.

If you donate in October, November or December your donation will be doubled by our generous match funders.
If you are able to gift aid the donation we will recieve 25% on top of your donation.

We are able to access a low interest loan based on your pledge of a monthly donation so that we can reach our target of buying Trinity Rooms for Christmas 2025.

A Vital Community Space
The Trinity Rooms are home to a vibrant Community Café, Food Bank, Community Pantries, youth group, and a wide range of low-cost or donation-based activities, from repair cafés, yoga, and mother & baby singing, to crafting, poetry, films, seed-saving, dance, and films. These initiatives support local families, improve mental health, and strengthen community ties, contribute to climate change reduction, while providing part-time employment and valuable volunteer experience.

'I come to the community cafe because I feel lonely. I am welcomed and feel at home. I have joined in now and help out there. Other people come because they need a free meal or are dealing with some really difficult issues in their lives. It is such a positive space for everyone.’ Nathan, Cafe user.

The building also plays host to organisations such as Rethink Mental Illness, Earth Protector Communities, Atelier, Stroud Against Racism events, and the annual Christmas Day Meal, helping to support Stroud’s most marginalised and vulnerable. The Community Development team reaches out to marginalised people and gives care for our team of hard working volunteers.
'This is more than just bricks and mortar — it's the social glue of our town,' said John, friend of Trinity Rooms.
We have a wonderful Community Development team offering key support to marginalised people as well as giving special support and care for our treasured team of volunteers.
