June Clarke
Community Development Lead
I am passionate about giving disadvantaged people a voice. In particular I favour the full participation of service users and volunteers in running and developing these same services. I aim to ensure the inclusion of vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalised people in the community at TRCH. I also support the volunteers who offer their time there, and help run the newly formed Volunteer Circle.
George Vigileos
Trustee and Volunteer
I believe that local community empowerment and evolution is the way forward, and the best hope for future generations to live in harmony. I am a practical person (I cook, and do carpentry and, when in Greece, agricultural work) but I am also a writer and dreamer. I love mountains and camping in wild places. At Trinity, I volunteer at the Friday café and participate in the Systems and Culture Circle, and the Building Planning Circle. I also help Trinity save money by getting involved in many of the construction and repair tasks that are needed in this old and somewhat neglected building.
Josie Cowgil
Hub Co-ordinator
I am passionate about the health of the planet and all beings. This includes social justice, equity and reparations which are all needed for us to live in health and harmony.
My vision is for us to work together as a community for the benefit of us all and to be a model for other communities to do the same. The Trinity Rooms provides a perfect place for these passions to come to fruition.
Sarah Frazer
Volunteer and Chair of Trustees
I value using nature as a model of how to bring balance and harmony into all systems. Nature is a beautiful and complex network of localised yet interconnected systems that enable all life to flourish if not interrupted.
I am delighted to be a part of an organisation that innovates and is not afraid to experiment in an attempt to bring equity and balance back into systems so that all living things may thrive. I am one of the co-founders of Trinity Rooms in its present form. I help shape its direction and focus particularly on liaising with other local and national bodies with similar aims to ours. One such body is NoSH – the Network of Stroud Hubs, which links Trinity with other food hubs in the area.
I am Safeguarding lead, and participate in several Circles.
Vicky Redstone
Trustee and Volunteer
I am very interested in natural medicine and natural beauty products. My current passion is growing dye plants and making natural dyes -- I have just got an allotment where I will be able to grow my plants.
I have lived in near Trinity for 25 years but have not really felt part of the community because most of my work was in Bristol. Trinity has given me the community that I need, and I am committed to helping other people find a place to belong there, too. Trinity’s eco ethos fits in with my personal goals of trying to create products that don't damage our planet. At Trinity I do the book-keeping and payroll, and volunteer at the Friday Cafe.
Sam Mincher
Community Development Lead
I care deeply about humans and the rest of nature flourishing in a state of balance. My feeling that this value is aligned with those of Trinity Rooms is one of the main reasons I applied to join the team.
I am also passionate about the role that community plays in collective wellbeing and I envision a world where everyone can thrive as a result of local systems of support and care. The TRCH exists primarily for this reason, so I have chosen to contribute my time and energy in this way. My role at Trinity Rooms is to help engage a wide range of people in our activities, and ensure the services provided are accessible for the diverse communities we have here in Stroud.
Fran Mosley
Secretary and Volunteer
My work in education and counselling has fuelled my interest in empowering people, and in working to bring about a more equal and diverse society. I am committed to low impact living which, as a 1950s baby, takes me back to my beginnings in post-war austerity, but with a positive twist. At Trinity I try to act as a ‘memory’ for other very busy people, helping keep issues on the agenda until they are resolved.
James Millar
Trustee
I love helping to set up new organisations and seeing them develop. In particular I am interested in the food supply network, and in enabling local food growers and makers to find a local market, so cutting out food miles and reducing packaging and storage costs. I am a founding trustee of SEC, the charity that runs Trinity Rooms. I am part of the Finance, Legal and Governance Circle, where I get involved in financial planning, lease negotiations with our landlords (the Trustees of Trinity Church), and support the Trinty team in managing the SEC charity according to Charity Commission guidelines.
